The first thing I’d like to do is introduce myself, so you know who is passing along this information to you, and why I feel I am qualified to do so.

My name is Jim Mitchell and I am a full time real estate investor and have been for several years now.  I also teach real estate investing through a mentor service at REmentors.com, as well as author the occasional article and publish educational materials relating to real estate investing.

Before I started investing in real estate, I was a law enforcement/corrections officer. I feel that this gives me a certain edge at being creative and solving sellers’ problems because I was often called upon in my former profession to resolve disputes and solve problems before they became BIG problems.

I am a straight shooter. No holds-barred is the name of my game and that attitude will be displayed throughout my book.  If you do not have a thick skin or are expecting all stars and glitter, then this book is not for you.

If you are looking for a course that is the "Magic Bullet," this is not it. I am merely passing along to you my own personal experience and systems that I have developed along the way. I will not sugar coat anything; it is just not my style.

For relaxation and recreation, I ride my Harley Davidson motorcycle whenever possible. I’ve often been called "the biker who buys houses."  I do somewhat fit the "biker image" because yes, I live to ride.  Investing is just how I pay for it!

I do not dress in three-piece business suits and have not even owned one for years.  I am most often spotted wearing jeans and a biker t-shirt as pictured above. That is my uniform of choice and the dress code in my office and business meetings.
 

If people will GIVE their houses to someone who looks like me...anyone can do this!


I have managed to create a decent lifestyle with my investing, due in large part to being able to buy property after property, subject to the existing financing.

Financial freedom was my goal when I began and real estate is something I enjoy today. Thanks to investing in real estate, I am able to do what I want, when I want.

No corporate nine to five, weekends off, working to further someone else financially for me, thanks!  I was never one who took orders well or worked at my best "under supervision" of "management," or for the "top brass."  Employment politics just never was in my scope of being... I never fit the mold for any clique.
 

I do not play well with others.


I've been happilly "unemployed" (a.k.a. working from home) for YEARS now, and I cannot even fathom working for someone else, which is possible only because of the system I'm sharing with you.
